At SWT, we are committed to strengthening the communities we serve across Southwest Saskatchewan and Southeast Alberta. We are proud to partner with local groups and organizations to support those in need and contribute to vibrant, thriving communities.
Program Guidelines and Eligibility

Location and Activity Requirements
- • Organizations must be located and active within SWT’s trading area in Saskatchewan or Alberta.
- • All requests must be submitted online using the designated application form.

Considerations and Recognition
- • SWT will consider donations of gift cards and products, as appropriate.
- • Recognition of SWT’s contribution is required.
- • All decisions made by the selection committee are final. No explanations will be provided.
- • Please allow up to four (4) weeks for a response.

Limitations on Giving
SWT generally does not support:
- • Political parties or candidates
- • Individuals
- • Third-party fundraisers without recognition
- • Religious organizations (except non-denominational community services)
- • Professional or technical associations
- • Private clubs
- • Organizations promoting morally controversial issues
- • Conferences, seminars, workshops, conventions, retreats, trips, or tours
Typically, support is limited to one donation per organization per fiscal year.
Request Submission Requirements
Requests must be submitted in writing or online and must include:
- • Organization’s name, address, phone number(s), email address
- • Contact person’s name and title
- • Description of the organization, including its mandate and objectives
- • Type and amount of support requested
- • Intended use of the funding or donation
- • Proposed method of recognition (include samples or media examples, if possible)
Support for Community Events (SK & AB)
SWT supports small community events in Saskatchewan and Alberta by offering one silent auction or raffle item per organization, per fiscal year.
To be eligible, your organization must:
- • Be raising funds for a Saskatchewan- or Alberta-based non-profit or charitable organization
- • Use the donated item for a silent auction or raffle
- • Allocate all raised funds within Saskatchewan or Alberta
- • Not be affiliated with political organizations or advocacy groups
- • Provide services and activities without discrimination
- • Not have submitted a request in the current fiscal year
Application Process
If your organization meets the eligibility criteria, please apply online. The application process takes approximately 5–15 minutes.
After submission:
- • We aim to respond within 1–2 weeks, but please allow up to 4–6 weeks for a final decision.
